mapping correspondence
"Mapping Correspondence" is a mail art / book art exhibition to be held at the Center of Book Arts in New York.
Curator Champe Smith invited 50 artists of her network to participate in this project. In turn each artist could extend this invitation to 2 or 3 artists from their network.
Scott McCarney invited us to collaborate. Scott is from New York and is making artists' books. We met Scott in Seoul at the artists' book fair in summer 2005.
This book "New York - Seoul - Ireland" has been made specially for this exhibition.

Still I feel some hard to work.
Doctor says I need to take a rest more.
Today I walked on the small hill behind my house,
then could work a little bit.
I know I have to say
and should listen in this world.

Son Narayan filming
Watching and helping Narayan making a short documentary about what is so special about Achill Island that so many foreigners ("blow ins" as they say here) are choosing Achill as their new home.
Here at Architect Peter from Germany with wife and photographer Inge.
They choose this wild, windy, spectacular and isolated place to build their modern house while respecting traditional architecture and using local materials.
Narayan is studying film in Dun Loghaire, Dublin.
